Mark Lorenzen’s Fight For TX17

Mark Lorenzen’s fight for TX17 starts with fairness and his campaign lays out specific strategies to help move all of America there.

His campaign website is a blueprint of strategies to accomplish the various key goals which promote the broader idea of fairness.

Though numerous issues and strategies may be on his mind, it’s all built on a single theme: equity.

The first goal (listed on his site) he tackles is healthcare reform. He plans to expand health coverage, lower prescription costs, and emphasize mental health services.

Combined these help Americans get access to affordable and effective medical care for all.

Additionally, Mark Lorenzen plans to achieve educational equity, through more public education funding, relieving student debt, and more accessible higher education. He also addresses economic inequality with intentions to reduce income disparity, establish a livable minimum wage, advocate for workers’ rights, and fair-trade promotion.

His plan for environmental sustainability: renewable energy solutions, conservation, more green jobs, and less carbon emissions. Furthermore, he seeks equal treatment under the law to address social justice concerns like systemic racism and LGBTQ+ rights.

Women’s rights are also on his list, including areas like reproductive rights, gender discrimination, and equal pay. Next, he’ll pursue immigration reform: Lorenzen plans to safeguard refugees’ rights, keep families together, and create a path to citizenship.

Mark Lorenzen shows concern for campaign finance reform for a more democratic electoral process – another issue of bringing fairness to Texans.

Finally, gun safety and support of common-sense safety measures such as: thorough background checks, bans on high-capacity magazines, and removing gun show loopholes.

You can be part of his mission by donating to this multifaceted campaign for District 17’s House Representative.
