On March 5th, 2024, newbie candidate Noor Mobeen will run for representative of the 7th District of Texas. Despite his newcomer status in politics, though, he is far from unseasoned, as he has experience teaching, mentoring students on career choices, and collaborating with nonprofit organizations. And, as representative of the 7th District of Texas, he intends to apply his experiences to help his constituents.
Issues the Candidate is Fighting for
While Mobeen fights for many issues, the number one issue on Mobeen’s mind is affordable health care. Mobeen recognizes that healthcare is a right that everyone should be able to obtain, regardless of their income, status, or race. Mobeen also recognizes that many people do not have healthcare right now and could possibly lose their lives because of it. That is why, as a representative, Mobeen vows to make doctor visits $29.00 and prescription medication 10.99.
Another issue on Mobeen’s mind is teacher pay. As a teacher, Mobeen gets how hard teachers work and how little they get paid for doing it. Additionally, Mobeen understands why so many teachers quit their jobs and how hard schools work to retain good teachers. As a representative, Mobeen wants to change the status quo. Mobeen wants to increase teacher pay by 20 percent so that teachers can afford basic necessities and do not have to quit their jobs to do it.
In conclusion, the issues Mobeen proves his care for teachers, low-income families, and other underrepresented individuals. And, as a representative, he wants to continue caring for these populations. He wants to allow individuals to achieve the American Dream, no matter who they are or where they come from. And isn’t that the type of representative you want?
