Long-time Democratic incumbent Jerry Zimmerer is running for reelection for Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals Place 3.
With his incumbency speaking volumes, Zimmerer was first elected to his position back in 2018. He is an established, vital leader of the Texas justice system.
A native Texan, Jerry earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Business Management from Houston Baptist University in 1978 and continued his education at the University of Houston to earn two Master’s of Law Degrees in International law and Medical Law.
Exceptionally well versed in the legal sphere, he has worked in Civil Trial & Litigation, Cyber Security Law & Compliance, Health Law & Compliance, Domestic & International Litigation, Complex Business Entities, Medical Practices Structures & Delaware Statutory Trusts, and further legal spheres.
Zimmerer served as a Member of the Board of Advisors to the University of Houston Law Center and remains a guest lecturer. Further, he is an Active Member of the Texas Democratic Lawyers Association, in addition to the Harris County Democratic Lawyers Association, where he works alongside like-minded attorneys to recruit and promote/spread Democratic ideals to new horizons.
